Hluhluwe Game Reserve is the oldest game park in Africa and the second oldest in the world to the Yellow Stone of America. It is one of largest game reserves in South Africa covering 96000 hectares of land.
Hluhluwe Game Reserve is world renowned for its conservation effort to bring the White and Black rhino back from the brink of extinction. In recent times Hluhluwe Game Park has help the plight of the Wild Dog with numbers steadily increasing. It is also now the best place in the world to see the endangered Black Rhino.
The Game Park was established on the 30th April 1895 and was the hunting grounds of the Zulu Kings of the past. Today it has to be one of the most picturesque game parks in Africa. The views from some of the hill tops are spectacular.

Many people are of the opinion that Hluhluwe game reserve is far better to visit than the Kruger Park.
It is not as commercial as a lot of other parks, with a lot less vehicles making for a better viewing experience allowing you to see the Big 5 and a lot more Wild Life on your Game Drive and Safari Tours.
