It seems as though each day is hotter than the previous one and that the rain will never come !! It’s just as well that we enter the Park at 05h00 when the gate opens because from around 10h00 onwards the poor animals are already looking for shade. Despite this, however, there were two separate leopard sightings this morning and plenty elephants on show. No signs of lions though, even the small pride that have been hanging around marker 27 in recent days seem to have moved off. General game was plentiful today and it was good to see lots of giraffe again – it seems to be the favourite animal for so many of our guests.
